Revelation 13:2-10

Chapter 13
2 And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, and its feet were like those of a bear, and its mouth was like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave it his power and his throne and great authority. 3 and one of its heads as if it had been slaughtered to death, and its death-wound was healed. And the whole earth marveled, following the beast, 4 They worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who is able to make war with it?" 5 And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and there was given to him authority to act for forty-two months. 6 And it opened its mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name and his tabernacle, those who tabernacle in heaven. 7 And it was given to him to make war with the saints and to conquer them, and it was given to him authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. 8 and all those dwelling on the earth will worship him, those whose name is not written in the book of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered from the foundation of the world. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he goes. If anyone is to be killed by the sword, he must be killed by the sword. Here is the endurance and the faith of the holy ones.
